Todd Schneider - Executive Director
Todd has been serving at The Rock for nine years now, and has been directing the ministry for the past six. As ministry director, Todd oversees all aspects of The Rock including the Friday Night dinner & family ministry and is president of The Rock ministry board. There are over thirty five regular volunteers on the ministry staff who support Todd in this position. He has been a member of Rockville Church of the Nazarene since 2005 after coming to Christ there in 2002. Todd has a heart and desire to see as many children and families in Rockville as possible reached for Christ. He also is passionate about getting local churches to reach out into their communities to make a difference in the world. Todd lives in Vernon with his wife, Hillary and five children: Raina, Kira, Wesley, Macy, and Silas, all age 13 and under. As a family they are called to this ministry and local missions and desire to serve God with every area of their lives at The Rock, in Rockville and beyond.
Jessica Morneault - Assistant Director, Visitation & Ministry Planting & Support
Jessica has served on the Rock staff for the past seven years, returning after some time off to work with teenagers in the youth group ministry at Rockville Church of the Nazarene. She has been a part of the Rock since the beginning in 1997, and even prior when The Rock was a vacation Bible School run by RCN. Jessica grew up in Rockville and was introduced to Christ as a child through this ministry. Today, she is a leader on the ministry staff, a head teacher in our Friday night family program and dinner, assistant to Todd, and a visitation leader. She is also the children's ministry director at Rockville Church of the Nazarene. Jessica feels that God has called her through this ministry for the very purpose of giving back to other families from the community she grew up in. She is a living example of the power of God and how He can work through ministry into local communities. Jessica lives in Stafford with her husband John and four young children: Elizabeth, Matthew, Abigail, and Savannah.
Hillary Schneider - Assistant Director, Education, Discipleship, Ministry Planting & Support
Hillary is the wife of Rock Ministry director Todd Schneider. She has served in The Rock for the past nine years after taking a four year break when they began their family. Prior to the break, Hillary had served in this ministry for three years after coming to Christ at the age of sixteen through the Rockville Church of the Nazarene and The Rock Ministry. Hillary is a lead teacher in our Friday night program and visitation leader, as well as close assistant to Todd. She is a great Bible teacher with a heart for discipleship and compassion for the families we have been entrusted with.
Beth Russell - Ministry Director
Beth directs the Rock Ministry in Manchester, CT and a staff of over twenty volunteers at the Salvation Army Manchester, CT Corps. She is a gifted Bible teacher who loves people and has a heart for reaching people in Manchester who do not know Christ. She has been involved with The Salvation Army her whole life. She lives in Manchester with her husband Pete and two children.
Sarah Roberts - Rock Ministry Coordinator
Sarah works directly with local Rock Ministry pastors, directors, & leaders to effectively carry out the mission and vision of The Rock in the local ministry context. This includes supporting local Rock ministries in any area necessary including organization & administration, visitation & outreach, teaching & preaching, long range & short term planning, & coordinating effective ministry with the local ministry staff at existing & new locations.
Beth Walsh - Ministry Director
Beth is ministry director for the Rock in Meriden, CT. She and her husband Jeff were originally part of the staff at the Rock in Rockville, CT. Jeff and Beth were called to Wallingford Church of the Nazarene in 2013, where Jeff is now Senior Pastor. Quickly God placed it strongly upon their hearts to start a Rock ministry in Meriden, which began in May 2015. Beth’s passion for seeing lives transformed and her love for both God and neighbor drive her to minister devotedly to the families in Meriden. She inspires others to step outside their comfort zone for Christ, believing that we should not just go to church but be the church.
